I haven’t been working out the past couple weeks due to the fact that my family from Guam has been visiting. I promised last week I would get back on track but because of midterms and an issue with my dryer I put it off another week. (I know, I know, excuses!)
This morning I was thinking about putting it off for another week due to homework and housework. I was set to do just that, but something happened. I visited NWS due to a reminder from the BOSS “trench”, I saw Pauline’s article that inspired and motivated me to break my GAGULITIS streak. After my workout I felt great and remembered the reasons why I love to lift weights, the pump, the confidence and knowing that I did it!
In the end everyone has to remember why they workout. Yes one benefit we can achieve through fitness is “Trenchism”, a state of mind and a rock hard body like trench, but there is a lot more to it than that. When you find it, it will help fuel your need to succeed. Pin up a pic of your motivation and find a way to have it around you all the time, that way you are forced to do work. Whatever your motivation is…. Hot chicks, trenchism, sixpack, guns, chest, etc. focus on it and GET IN THE GYM! For me it’s to stay fit and to be a “DILF”. More importantly I love the feeling of accomplishment after a workout… one step closer to that ultimate goal. Stay focused and remember why you’re training…. use it to fuel your workout.
PS Thanks Pauline!!

Glad your back on track brother! There are so many things in a day that get in the way of a good workout. Whenever I feel unmotivated and tired, I think about why I started in the first place and how far I have come. I never want to be overweight again. I never want to feel exhausted after “walking” for 10 minutes. You only have one body and you gotta keep that engine running smooth. Welcome back! NWS!!!
Yeah bro things do get in the way, but like you said you have to remember why you started. KILL’EM ALL NWS!!
SOLID Bro!! Nice to hear ya! And you know that I also went through the same similar thing when I returned from Hawaii. Feels good to be back on it though ya!!
